Why are Brazilian domain names trustworthy?

I want to show you some of the reasons why you should buy a Brazilian domain name if you are Brazilian or doing some business in Brazil.

No cocky domains like .com or .net

In Brazil, we don’t use flashy domain names like .com or .net. In fact, such domain names date back to the boomer era and no longer carry the same credibility on the internet as they once did. Despite the anonymity of these domains, scammers can easily use them, and as a user, you cannot trust a website owner because of an SSL certificate.

Of course, you can purchase the domains mentioned above with the Brazilian suffix, however the point here is to choose a domain that better suits your business model. You can easily get in touch with the person who created the site by just looking up in the whois database. I have seen hundreds of fake sites generated by bots or even sites with misinformation on which I wanted to complain to the owner and I couldn’t find any contact information. It is something that pisses me off some times. A transparent site whose contents was created organically by a real person can be taken more seriously.

Trusted by big tech

If you’ve got any Instagram presence like a shop or anything you probably came across the Link Not Allowed problem. Instagram and any social media owned by the Zuck has some sort of algorithm that ranks websites based on their trustworthiness and may prevent people from accessing them if they appear suspicious. I don’t personally trust online stores that don’t dare to identify themselves, it means they have something to hide and certainly are not trusty. Don’t fall for .com domains, they’re usually scams.
